Accessibility statement

1900 Elm Lofts wants everyone to be able to find a home here, and this website is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
  • Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text, and the photo viewer can be closed with the Escape key.
  • Form fields are labeled, and errors are announced to screen readers.
  • Motion is reduced automatically when your device asks for it.
  • The pages work without JavaScript; only live availability, the forms and the photo viewer need it, and each has a fallback.
